Geetarz Comments: A very good audience recording really helps one enjoy what is probably the finest performance of EC's 2003 tour of Japan. "I Shot the Sheriff" is absolutely amazing and one of EC's finest performances of this song, with a solo that covers every possible base. "White Room" grinds with a power and majesty not found since the performances of that song in Japan a decade earlier, on the 1993 tour. EC also really stretches out on another song he at times just paints by numbers, "Sunshine of Your Love", with killer first and second solos on this one. Take away one point, however, for a merely average vocal treatment on this one, as Geetarz does prefer when Mr. C. sings up in pitch for the third verse of "Sunshine". An excellent performance through and through, and heartily recommended.
