Comments: Billy Joel reflects on his music "In His Own Words", and A&E Special. Music's "Piano Man" has had great success with personal appearances in which he talks to audiences about his work and takes questions, illustrating some of his remarks with portions of songs from "She's Always a Woman" and "Just the Way You Are" to "Uptown Girl" and "My Life", as well as music from his Number One Classical album, Fantasies and Delusions, with special guest pianist, Ricahrd Joo. This show was recorded at the University of Pennsylvania's Irvine Auditorium in Philadelphia.

A fascinating, interesting recording, and essential to anyone curious about the songwriting process!
