Note: The Complete BBC Sessions - Great Dane Records Between 1962 and 1965 the Beatles appeared live on the BBC dozens of times, on the popular Saturday Club, Teenagers Turn and other light music programs, as well as on their own shows. On this 10 disc set is collected nearly 250 individual performances - almost all known performances in existence. This is well-known as one of the finest archival pieces ever released, bootleg or legitimate. While the hits are certainly here, it is the vast collection of cover songs recorded for their BBC shows that is of the greatest interest - we are able to hear, cleanly and clearly, what their club act must have been like as they went from bar band to superstars.
