Geetarz Comments:
This attractive boxset captures some of the finest
performances of EC's 2004 tour, encompassing all three nights at New York's Madison Square Garden.
Overall sound quality is not good, it is not excellent, it is in fact nothing short of phenomenal,
and in fact better at times than one found in person at the shows themselves. The boxset also
contains a bonus DVD of the June 29 show. Uncharacteristically, the DVD is not up to the usual Mid
Valley standards and seems merely to be a reauthored version of the
single camera recording of the performance with no effort
made to improve the sound quality. Mid Valley would have been well served to replace the soundtrack
with their excellent recording of the 6/29 show. Nevertheless, the DVD is well authored and does
feature a tasty photo gallery as a bonus.
Geetarz is also humbled, honored, and proud to see our original photography included as the cover
art for a Mid Valley release! Way to go, Mid Valley!
