Multi-cam(Pro and Aud, in my opinion Aud/Sbd audio(some tracks Au, some Sbd, in my opinion) 0xbd[0x80]:48000Hz 192 kb/s tot , stereo (2/0) 1.333 (4:3) 720 x 480 MPEG-2 This is among the greatest "Gems" in my collection. I'm not sure what happened(but I understand how, because it happened to me too), but at some point Ted became so big of a fan of Chris Duarte that he suggested that they do a tour of Texas together. But this was not a traditional opener/closer type of tour. Chris would open the shows with his band(John Jordan- Bass and Brannon Temple-Drums). Then Ted would begin his set with the CDG, featuring insane Guitar-war type trade offs between Chris and Ted. After about half an hour of Jamming, Chris and John would leave and Michael Lutz would finish the show with Ted and Brannon. Ted's adoration of Chris on this DVD is enough to give Duarte-heads Goosebumps big-time. Especially when Ted compares Chris with other legends such as......... well, I won't spoil it. I'll put it this way....you know the "boner" Ted has for hunting? Well, the "boner" he has for Chris Duarte's guitar playing makes hunting seem like a long forgotten groupie from three weeks ago. No shit. Total peer Validation for a young upcoming legend. And Chris DOES blow Ted away in their Jams, although not by trying, 'cuz that' not his style. I have to say though, that one of the most amazing things I've ever seen Ted do is the Instrumental(Sunrise) he plays after Chris and John leave. I'm really blown away by this. It seems like after Chris, Ted wanted to show that he's a serious muscian as well. Very different, cool, and quite impressive. THIS DVD IS SO F**KING COOL- IT'S STUPID! 1. Intro 2. Johnny B. Goode 3. Blues Jam 4. Hey Joe 5. Stranglehold 6. Sunrise 7. Just What The Doctor Ordered 8. Free For All 9. Snakeskin Cowboy 10. Great White Buffalo 11. Cat Scratch Fever 12. It's All Over Now 13. Crossroads Chris Duarte plays on the first four songs, and also on the last two songs. youtube clips at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFpSUT0TlHY and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVSd65dlrv4 (check out Chris's playing, and Ted's reaction on this one!) CHRIS DUARTE IS NOT A JUST A BLUES GUITARIST. HE'S A PSYCHEDELIC JAZZ/ROCK/BLUES PLAYER, WITH THE TRUE SPIRIT OF JIMI AS FAR AS FAR AS PLAYING EMOTIONALLY FROM HIS SOUL. NO TWO CDG GIGS ARE EVER THE SAME. THERE IS NEVER A SETLIST! CHRIS NEVER PLAYS THE SAME SOLO TWICE! A SONG CAN BE 10 MINUTES ONE NIGHT, AND 18 MINUTES THE FOLLOWING NIGHT. THIS IS TRUE FRE-FORM IMPROVISATION AND FEELING!
