Investigating Django’s swinging legacy and the cult that surrounds his work, filmmaker Jamie Kastner conducts a musical world tour ranging from Oslo to Tokyo (where he discovers dueling Django tribute bands). Both a celebration of the man Duke Ellington said was the only non-American to make an impact on jazz, and an investigation into the nature of fandom, DJANGOMANIA! is a delightful salute to Django and his art.
