So I am blowing the candles out on this cake and sending out presents :) Thanks again Scott what a great compilation. Too bad we didnt think about this for subsequent tours. A wrap up disc of the entire set list! One question: Is river of tears on this compilation, I dont recall seeing it on your setlist. EC will sell enough no matter what he does. If he actually put out a back to roots, guitar in your face album, it would sell big time. I mean, its what everyone is waiting for. He has million of fans that would buy this, not too mention all the guitar players out there that are expecting this someday. I think the impressions idea is probably the most likely, but would probably be reptile-like. Reptile did sell. Maybe not 10 million copies, but it was hardly a failure. People want EC to put the amp in again and play loud, but the guy is closer to 60 than 30, and he has been there and done that. What I would like to see is EC doing a disc with the likes of Gov't Mule or Bramhall. Play with people that can push him to play his ass off again. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Apurva Parikh" Sent: Saturday, March 16, 2002 12:19 PM Subject: What should Eric do next? - fan, manager, eric's perspectives > Hello Sd'ers, > I posted something similar to this on the Zeppelin digest and got a lot of > discussion. Now, I'll provide the video, to go with the audio. I converted the Budokan show to VideoCD directly from my widescreen DVD copy. It only took about 14 hours . I also letterboxed it in the process so it will display in proper widescreen format. VideoCDs should play fine in most DVD players, as well as on any PC with at least a 2x CD-ROM drive and a software DVD player. I'll send out free copies to the first 5 respondants with the proviso that they in turn do the same. If ya don't hear back from me, sorry, you didn't make the cut. I'll post the names of the winners! Now, let the scramble begin... Cheers, Mark Deavult End of slowhand Digest V02 Issue #54
